Labor Day 2009 Memories

This is pretty late, but as it gets colder up here, it's nice to remember these warm days together.

The Kilkenny Ringtone

Not sure if anyone's interested or not, but I made a Kilkenny ringtone for our cell phones.

It's the sound of the wind chime and the breeze on the dock.

You can click HERE and download either the

iPhone version
(drag the file into iTunes, then synch iPhone)
MP3 version
(for other cell phones)

This is what your choices will look like on the website:

Once you load the ringtone on your phone,
you can set it as the ringtone for the Kilkenny number and
you'll hear the sounds of the dock
whenever someone calls you from Kilkenny.
Or you could also use it for whatever other number you like.

As usual, email me with technical questions
or to report problems.

November at Kilkenny

The pool is covered and the temperature is lower,
but the quiet sunrise is amazing.

The greatest fisherman in these here parts, Ken Madren.

Pirate Mike's House: Cirdan.
She has great similarities to Mary Poppins' bag of endless surprises.

Airball... pre-restoration.

That's it?
I understand why Aunt Georgia used to cook store bought fish sticks and tell the kids they were eating the daily catch.

S.S. Muddy Rudder, preparing for battle.

Popop left his "been sanding all day and this looks like a good place to sit" seal of approval for this chair.

Popop's "pork product supreme" equipped with hotdog, ham, bbq, and what he thought was coleslaw but was actually tuna salad (rendering this culinary masterpiece surf 'n turf).
