The Restaurant

Mom, Dad, John and I ate at "The Restaurant", aka Marker 107, 

last Friday and we are happy to report that it was delicious!

We need to support them so it stays in the neighborhood.

They're open for dinner 

Wednesday and Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. 

and Friday and Saturday from 5 until 10 p.m.  

Some of our favorites dishes and drinks were:

• the shrimp and grits martini appetizer
• the seared tuna appetizer (sushi style)
• the blackened scallops with cheese grits and green beans
• the cosmopolitan and martini that Mom and I had!

Gorgeous February Weekend

John, Bayla and I have enjoyed a lovely weekend with crisp skies and fresh sunshine to warm our skin. Can't wait for Kilkenny season to start up again so we can share it with all of you.

We took a long walk down to the Lincoln River. Suzy Q decided to join us on the journey and the two pups found their way into the water of the river and swam for about an hour while I walked through marsh mud as it dried and cracked under the brilliant sun. They had a dirty, rowdy, wet blast of a time!

And they're fast asleep right now as I type this.

And John and Gary practiced for the 2010 horseshoe olympics. The ringers were plentiful.
